At Winklergut, we set aside time to reconnect with deep shades of ourselves, shedding old layers that no longer serve us and growing collectively – whether in our vibrant vegetable gardens or around the fire where we openly share our deepest emotions.
In 2022, we embarked on a transformative regeneration project aimed at cultivating a self-sufficient, regenerative farm on the expansive surrounding land. Our commitment to sustainability is reflected in the strategic initiatives we’ve implemented to foster ecological balance and enhance biodiversity
To commence this initiative, we invested in solar panels to harness clean energy, ensuring that our operations align with eco-friendly practices. Additionally, we introduced natural ponds, thoughtfully cleansed with strategically placed plants, fostering a harmonious environment for aquatic life.
Recognizing the importance of preserving wildlife corridors, we planted 120 new shrubs to establish and strengthen connections within the ecosystem. This deliberate effort serves to rekindle natural pathways for various species, contributing to the overall health and vitality of the local environment.
